My class has been asking me to the design class tee every year, mostly because I'm the only one in my class from art. I did these using Illustrator :)
That was the 308 tee! (The san ba jing shen part was removed before printing.) We passed around a sheet of paper and asked people to draw emoticons, then I had to translate those into tiny little smiling mantous.
The front of the 408 tee was inspired by barcode drawings which I thought were really cool. It's mostly made up on swirl vectors, since in times of stress and doubt I end up drawing swirly things. The back is a receipt (my friend's idea)! It doesn't actually add up to $408.
