Another coursework update. I really like how my castle turned out! :D
In case someone's wondering how I did this, I outlined the castle in illustrator and used the outline as a layer mask for a photograph of clouds. The background was yet another photograph of clouds (I suppose taking 200+ photos of clouds on various plane rides was actually worth it)!
After various photoshop effects and adjustments with colour, I started to play around with bricked turrets. I actually made a lot of variations for this idiom -- some have turrets, some have bricks, some are more realistic -- but in any case, they all look fairly similar, so I thought it's worth posting to share :)
